The Blog put chronological publishing  in the hands of everyone with a computer and an internet connection. Millions of blogs exist today -from individual blogs to blogs for large companies.

Blogs organize their content by date. The newest entry into a blog appears on the top of the page. Each entry or post is assigned to one or more categories as well as tagged with keywords. Older post are archived by date, category, tags, and searchable by any keyword that appears in the post.

If you chose a blog for your web presence, you want to make regular entries and keep your content fresh. Remember that your last post displays the date of your entry. You don't want people coming to your blog website with a month old date displayed on the top of your page - or even showing a post, dated two years ago.

If you choose a blog, prepare to  publish new content on a regular base, daily, weekly, or at least twice a month.
